Previously

I worked at an incredible charity called Giving What We Can, where I made videos to encourage people in high income countries to give a small percentage of their income to the world's best charities. To that end, I've pledged 10% of all the money I will ever earn to charities helping the world's poorest people (e.g., the Against Malaria Foundation).

I was profiled on the front page of Mother Jones about my time at McKinsey

I wrote essays disguised as restaurant reviews on Substack

I have fiction in FotW and Leland Quarterly

I hosted the Stanford Politics Podcast

I wrote for the Stanford Politics Magazine
